January 2, 200818 yr Hello All:After selecting my choices in the graphics section, I fired up AS6.5 for the actual weather outside which was visibility 1/16 th of a mile, overcast (no kidding!) and snowing. I waited a bit and AS6 finally came through like a champ depicting the weather just as it was moutside, with one exception. The overcast cloud base textures were decidedly on the blue side, not greyish/white as what was outside.I selected "greyisn" in the haze category in the graphics section. What can I do to get the overcast to a grey color instead of a blue tint?ThxChris
January 2, 200818 yr Hi,Please choose a different stratus set, but not really sure if we can control the color of the overcast. I know it is not the haze selection.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
January 2, 200818 yr Author Thanks Jim.The texture that I am after is the same one that is rendered in the default weather selection of overcast skies. I changed the stratus mode as you suggested to a lighter mode and that did help a bit.Perhaps this could be looked into for a future update.Flying with actual weather conditions gives a whole new level of realism. Thanks again.Chris
