I am trying to see the Kilauea eruption but having no luck.I go to select flights/ flight sim 2000 flights/ Kilauea eruption. the flight starts with me in the c182rg on the cost heading inland. This is just as the flight started in fliht sim 2000.The difference is that I just cannot see the volcano erupting. Am i doing something wrong?

I have the same problem, too. I've looked all around the island and can't find it.

The volcano is located at N19 25.26, W155 17.46 (you can set these coordinates in Map View to go there). It seems to be triggered when the aircraft approaches and continues to errupt at one-minute intervals and last about 15 seconds as long as you remain in the immediate area (5-10 mile radius?). It will continue to errupt while in Slew mode, but not if the sim is Paused.Regards,Stevewww.fs-traveler.com
