Rate of Update and Forecast changes Query

There is a setting in Display Settings in FSX for Rate of Dynamic change....will this have an effect on ASX ?Also, I remember in FS9 that TAF could be switched off or on. Is TAF forcasting automatically dealt with by ASX ? And, how can I setup weather for departure...weather for destination then switch-off ASX...or does it need to be running to create different weather..ie. if ASX is switched off..does the current weather just stay the same globally ?

Hi,For that FSX setting it doesn't matter because we over-ride the setting anyway.Yes, TAFS are now handled internally.You can use the Wx Configurator screen to set you your own weather, but ASX still needs to run.If you turn ASX off some weather does stay for a certain distance.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
