  1. Greetings Mr. Jim.
I'm using FSet, for my new scenery project. My previous projects I used SbuiderX, which is a nice background, but compiling method.

My issue with FSet is pricesely that part. I want to compile Day, night and a blendmask (wich I have already edited) , but cant figure how to properly edit the .INF file in way that does the compiling with those 3 sources.  I managed to make it with DAy textures only, using the lines below…

Can you please give some support on how to wright the proper lines for this…   Thank you so much, in advanced for any support.
    kind regards

    Alexandre

      Hi Alexandre,

FYI: For technical developer questions - "FSDeveloper" - might get you the answers you are looking for more quickly - it's a great site... We don't usually get that deep into development questions around here...

      https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/

I think you are missing the "MultiSource" line to specify how many sources "Resampler" will look for...

Here's a working example I used a while back - for P3D - includes both sat imagery and mesh for the airport in question - blend and water masks as well....

      Regards,
      Scott

  2. Pretty sure these files were not developed for FSX or FSX-SE.
  3. Every file in Windows is for developers. They sure aren't there for users to mess with. FYI even my Win 10 has an updated .dll so it was important enough for MS to include it on 7-31-15.
  4. Why would anyone remove default Windows files from Windows? They are there for other purposes. And it's the .dll in your FSX that is crashing, not the default Windows .dll.
  5. There are multiple versions of that file that you need to try for your system. No need to go back to Win 7.
  6. The boxed edition is supported to the same extent in Win 10 as the SE edition is. There is no reason to re-purchase FSX just to solve this issue.
  7. Use Device Manager under Display Adaptors.
  8. Versions? No Ways to run the versions? Yes
  9. Are you sure they are installed correctly? You may still be using the generic VGA drivers.
  10. You need to update your video card drivers. Right now you are using the Win 10 generic drivers.
  11. Maybe on March 13th I did, but I don't think it is necessary any longer. That's what happens when you quote something out of context. And seeing that I am now using MT6, I just did a quick random check and all the MT6 planes have the standard aircraft.cfg file. Therefore all are processed in AIM.
  12. Start AIM, go to Settings, choose #2, wait for things to process. Do this with FS not running.
  13. FS9 doesn't have registration numbers, it has SafeDisk and SafeDisk is not going to run under Win 10.
  14. From another post: http://www.winbeta.org/news/windows-10-wont-run-games-with-certain-older-cd-rom-drms Yes, FS9 uses SafeDisk.
  15. Dirk, Correct on that path information. I just use everything at default, and 100%, using MT6.
