Still one of the best Cessna addons in MSFS.

Just curious, does it happen all the time, and are you using laptop

Hello. I just had a CTD with "memory cannot be read" message. I remember I had it months ago and suddenly it re appeared. I think this is MSFS error not hardware related. I didn't install new addons or utilities recently, the only thing that us "new" is the recent MSFS update. Has anyone ever experienced and identitied the culprit? Thank you

Mine is 6.31 GB (!) But when I clicked update, the update resumes from 1.25 GB heading to 2.67 GB (?) -
What is going to happen when MSFS2024 arrives??
History replied to raymar's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
There are always early adopters and those who tend to sit in a comfort zone. But the majority is likely those who have the both sim while still spending most of the swimming time in MSFS2020. I'd say the vast majority may be the latest group. The switch from FS9 to FSX was not immediate. In 2009-2012 did we see many posts in AVSIM telling how much they still loved FS9 compared to FSX, and those kind of threads, although dead horse discussions, did successfully attract replies. And that's because of the solid stability of the FS9 and the variety of addons. The pattern is not exactly the same although it is safe to say the switch may not be swift, especially what works in MSFS2020 will also work in 2024. However, there is a potential game changer, that is, when MSFS 2024 is so successfully optimizing CPU and GPU that it dramatically gives similar or even better performance than MSFS 2020. -
IniBuilds Los Angeles - Bad Performance
History replied to iFlySimX's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Very rare does the detailed airport addon give us an easy fps. It's always a trade since the days of FS9. Unless one has a high end PC, developers should start informing potential customers about the performance limitations, which is rarely the case IMO. -

Is Asobo A310 still crashing?
History replied to History's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
This is interesting. Some say disabling rolling cache prior to loading the plane does the trick -
Is Asobo A310 still crashing?
History replied to History's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I just uninstalled it through content manager. And I haven't tried loading the A310 with empty community folder. Will note this for future reference. Thanks -
No solution from the developer to solve the issue and it's been years. Has anyone managed to solve the crash during initial loading, and if so, what steps have you taken to troubleshoot and resolve this issue?

FBW320, "better than Airsimmer"
History replied to History's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Awesome. I wish Wilco would jump in to continue their legacy with their A340. Yes, and it's pretty saddening for me that we are not getting any younger. 😌 -
FBW320, "better than Airsimmer"

I could not agree more. Even default Asobo A320Neo is tens times better :D. It was a total mess apart from the potential it once had. I bought it in 2011 and it was 36-37 USD IIRC. I think I missed this Aviograsf A340. However Wilco A340 was quite fun, in fact the Wilco's families were joy to fly. It was the time where merging is a common practice (Posky etc) and there was this good airbus merge that I flew regularly (all the files are gone along with my crashing HDD). Maybe you're right. Now is the high time to call it the "golden age of flightsim", or at least, a major milestone.
