June 8, 200817 yr Maybe I have just missed this in the manual, and if so I apologize for asking the question. In a prior version of AS, I recall there was a feature that generated a time-spanned wx if a series of metars were downloaded for each hour over the time of the flight. AS would look at the relative time of the flight (not real time, of course, since it's looking at metars), and interpolate conditions over each hour of the flight. This was expecially interesting if the wx was changing dramatically at the flight destination over the period.I can't see how to invoke this feature in ASX, unless it's automatically doing it if any flight in historical time takes place and there is an hourly sequence of metars available.Thanks- Bruce. June 8, 200817 yr Author Thanks as always for your quick reply Jim.So if I just download several metars in hourly sequence, do I set my FSX to the same date and time of day and then it happens? Any other settings that I need to set in ASX?Thsnks, Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
June 9, 200817 yr Hi Bruce,No, just download the first file. ASX will pull the data from the archive when it needs later data.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
