No voice message on 122.00 on ASX networked setup

Featured Replies

I have setup ASX with SP3 on a networked machine. All seems to be working okay, except that I do not see or hear the weather when I tune Com 1 to 122.00. This feature worked for me when I had ASX with SP3 on the same machine as FSX Acceleration. Does it not work on a networked setup, or have I forgotten to do something? Or is there just something screwy with my setup? Thanks,Robert

Yes, as far as I can tell. It is just this one aspect that doesn't seem to work. Of course, there's always the possibility that the weather isn't transferring properly over the network and I'm not aware of it. But it looks to be fine to me.Robert

Jim, that was the problem. I never considered that the slave machine would be the one to broadcast this info. All I needed to do was turn on the speakers and I had the report. Thanks,Robert

Hi,No, we can't send audio back across a network and trigger the playing of the wave files. Suggest hooking up an inexpensive set of speakers to the client computer. Thanks!
