Featured Replies

Hi,I have found over the past few days that my ASX will not connect to download the wx. The application, after a while, says it is switching to a seconday server, but still fails to connect. My internet connection is working fine. Thanks, Bruce.

Hi Bruce,Sorry for the problem. At this time you are the only user reporting this. So a few things to look at:See if your firewall is still allowing ASX access.See if your anti-virus is blocking things. It could be your ISP having a problem. Can you browse the Active Sky web site OK?I just tried and everything was OK.Please let us know how things are going with this.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

Hi Jim,Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it is the firewall (AVG Payware Version 8). I need to figure out how to enable connections through it to your server. Everything else works OK on the internet, so this must be some setting in the firewall that for some reason doesn't like to type of traffic that is being passed through ASX onto the 'net. I will research this. Thanks again, Bruce.

Thanks again Jim- I got the issue sorted with some configuration changes on the firewall. It seems that enabling "gaming mode" what the trick.Bruce.
