November 10, 200817 yr I have a strange prob. with ASX. I have the default settings on ASX but here is what happens. I like to download a snapshot of the weather then fly it as is without updating. Seems like the departure weather is displayed pretty accurately. However, for example, if the weather at my destination has low clouds and low visibility, right about the time I land and I am taxing the visibility comes down to where it is supposed to be. It doesn't show it while im on approach only after I land. I use a flight plan and process it through ASX. It doesn't matter where I fly to it happens every time. Seems like I have tried everything. I would post a shot of the cfg file but I cant seems to find it.I am also using X-graphics RCV4 and X-Pax Mark
November 10, 200817 yr Hi Mark,It could be that you are using the clear Cirrus OVC texture and this is what will happen. Those would be Overcast 4 or Overcast 5. Check in X Graphics and see if one of those is being used. Please let us know. Thanks, Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
November 11, 200817 yr Interesting,I was using set number 5 now in all honesty I have changed a few things around there lately so I cant say how long it has been that way. I am getting ready to take it for a test flight in some nasty weather and check it out. I will report back.Mark
