  1. Jazz, Thanks a bunch for the tip on Ezdok being in the headrest must have been what it was as sin as I moved it all was good again and T7 is all good again.
  2. Jazz, Thanks for the tip im going to try that later just might be the problem because my NGX works perfect.. Seems like Ezdok isnt playing nice with the 777 or maybe its just me... Mark
  3. That has happened to me as well in fact it has broken my VC cockpit. Doesnt matter what I do cant click any buttons have re installed the whole plane twice deleted my fsx.cfg nothing works my 777 is just broke no idea where to go now..
  4. Good thought I have FSUIPC installed and I have the autosave unchecked wonder if that would be a better option. Mark
  5. So there I was, (that’s how you start any good story) just intercepting the glideslope at KDFW 17L after a nice long, time accelerated cruise from London Heathrow. Then all of a sudden I couldn’t click on anything in the cockpit nothing worked the sim was still running but I couldnt do anything.. What a disappointing end to a nice flight, I seem to recall this happing in another addon plane however I just can’t remember what the issue was.. Any thoughts? Regards Mark
  6. I have freezes and crashes disabled and removed realtek and it still happens. I do have Ezdok as well. Mark
  7. Hey Guys I seem to have the same problem here my displays have lines in them. Im not sure I have ever messed with the zoom factor is it in the FSX .cfg ?? On my NGX I just dim the brightness and it seems to fix it in this bird doesnt do it.. Regards Mark
  8. Cheryl, The whole idea for me is to not have the weather engine pull down new METAR's from the internet as I fly, I tend to like to have static weather. So if I want to shoot an ILS approach in the fog when I get to KSAN, I obviously dont want it to be clear when I get there some 4 hrs later after leaving KMDW. I am new to OPUS so im just trying to get it setup how I want it. Mark
  9. Thanks for the quick response, I was reading another post this would this procedure work for what I want ? 1. "Enable Live Weather Engine" checked, as well as "Import METAR data from file" checked uses the METARs in the bespoke text file you have created and not realtime weather. Therefore you must be close to the METAR airports in your bespoke text file - unless the file has one METAR with GLOB as the ICAO (then you can use it anywhere).
  10. Ok so maybe someone can clear up some confusion for me.. I enjoy flying the PMDG 737-NGX, I like to fly a real world flight plan and sometimes those flights are quite long.. I dont always want the weather to change at the destination. So what setting keeps the weather engine from going out to the internet and pulling down new weather when I get near my destination. Does OPUS download global Metars or just Metars that are close to your location ? Regards Mark
  11. Im sure this has been asked however I can t seem to find an answer so bear with me. I have used AS2012 since its early days and I hate the way it take forever to load and never seems to be right. I personally enjoy finding some nasty weather in the USA and flying my PMDG-737 NGX into a good IFR approach. With AS2012 I can download the lastest METAR turn off real time updates and fly to it, when i get there the weather will or should be unchanged. I looked through the Opus docs. and even downloaded the demo thinking of buying. The one thing I couldnt seem to do what I describe above. I know you can point Opus to your own METAR file however I cant find anything that says what kind of file it wants. I pointed Opus to my AS2012 current snapshot .txt file to see if it will read it however Opus didnt seem to work.. So what am I missing here or will Opus just not do what I want it to. If it will could someone give me a heads up and if that works im sold, Opus seems to be very fast and relaiable. Regards Mark S
  12. Ahmed I would def. be interested in those settings as well I cant seem to find the sweet spot with this thing. I also use the AOA settings and finf them way to lite. When I tinker with them seems like I get shook clear out of the left seat. Regards Mark
  13. Thanks for the update RSR seems like a good week, Microsoft Flight was released yesterday and now the SDK for NGX this weekend what a coincidence. Thanks again.
  14. Try flipping off the anti ice switch next time worked for me
  15. I had the same issue just turn the brightness on your DU controls on the panel and you will see the lines dissappear. Mark
