(Note: If the ground equipment is still connected when you ask to Start Engine 2, you will now need to remove the ground equipment manually via the PMDG Ground Connections menu.) If the Ground Air Conditioning Cart is connected to the aircraft, the FO will not set the Packs to Auto during his Pre-Flight setup flow. He shall leave the Packs off as per Boeing SOP. We tested the system with both continental French and Quebec French accents and the results were good. For more details, please consult the updated Tutorial at www.support.fs2crew.com. ON (STANDBY) COMM 1 / 2" AND "SWAP COMM 1 / 2" now functional. Very important: There are two FS2Crew 777 Config Managers. One for P3D and one for FSX. If you want to use the P3D version, you will need to install FS2Crew via the new P3D install option in the FS2Crew installer. Next, you will need to enable FS2Crew in the P3D version of the 777 Config Manager. How do you access the 777 Config Managers? There should be two shortcut icons on your desktop for the FS2Crew 777 Config Manager. One for P3D and one for FSX. See the screen shots below to ensure you're using the right Config Manager. You can also access the Config Managers via START - ALL PROGRAMS - FS2CREW2014. VERSION 1.2 JAN 31 2015 FIXED/UPDATED: Installer no longer refers to the Majestic Dash 8 if it cannot detect the PMDG 777. The Pilot Monitoring (the FO) will now read back the autobrake setting during the Descent Checklist since the autobrake is in his area of responsibility, not yours as the Pilot Flying. During the FO's Pre-Flight flow, the FO will now set the ISFD to Inches/Millibars as appropriate. If you skip the Pre-Flight flow, the FO will perform this action again during his Before Taxi flow. "MISSED APPROACH" removed as a possible trigger to initiate a go around to prevent a possible conflict with the "MISSED APPROACH ALTITUDE SET" call. To initiate a go-around, speak: "GO AROUND". The "ARE YOU READY FOR THE DEPARTURE BRIEF" voice command is now available up to Runway Entry Procedure mode. If using the Paper Checklist option, the FO will no longer set the lower screen to the Flight Controls page when you call "CLEAR ON THE LEFT". When turning on the hydraulic pumps, the FO will now turn C2 on before C1. When turning the pumps off, he'll turn off C1 before C2. In the Before Taxi Checklist, the FO will state the actual position of the EAI/WAI switches. If the external Air Conditioning Unit is attached to the aircraft, the FO will not set the Packs and Re-circulation fans to Auto during his Pre-Flight flow as the Packs and Recirc fans should remain in the Off position. The FO will turn on the Packs and Re-circulation fans during his Before Taxi flow. Sound files associated with being asked if you are ready to start the boarding have been fixed. US female FO "Gear up" recording edited so it sounds less like "Geard up". "LET'S TAXI BACK TO THE RUNWAY" voice command (used after a Rejected Takeoff) fixed. NEW FEATURES: Installer support for the Steam version of FSX. Headset Button Position on Main Panel now saved. New option to reload the audio system. Used if your audio suddenly cuts out for no apparent reason. This is usually due to hardware/driver issues. 'Right Click' the Red Button also used to perform the Audio test. On-Line Map will now display your Flight Number and Distance to Destination. (This data is taken direct from the PMDG's FMC.) 'Right Clicking' on the CFG button on the Main Panel will exit the CFG sub-menu. At 1000 feet during the approach, the PM/FO will announce "APPROACH STABLE / APPROACH NOT STABLE" Decision Height (Radio) can now adjusted in increment of +/- 1 if desired. NEW FMA CALLOUTS: FLIGHT DIRECTOR NEW VOICE COMMANDS: SET EFIS MODE TO APPROACH SET EFIS MODE TO VOR SET EFIS MODE TO MAP SET EFIS MODE TO PLAN DISPLAY WEATHER ON MY SIDE DISPLAY STATIONS ON MY SIDE DISPLAY WAYPOINTS ON MY SIDE DISPLAY AIRPORTS ON MY SIDE DISPLAY POSITION ON MY SIDE DISPLAY TERRAIN ON MY SIDE NEW CFG/AIRLINE OPTIONS: Option to disable the FO's V1 callout. Option to use Aerologic (Cargo Company) callouts. "CLEAR OF THE APRON BEFORE TAKEOFF CHECKLIST". At 500 feet, the FO will call "FLIGHT DIRECTOR" or "LAND3". Option for the FO/PM to call "GO" instead of "V1" during takeoff. (Lufthansa). Option for the FO/PM to call "POSITIVE CLIMB" instead of "POSITIVE RATE". (Emirates). VERSION 1.1 NOV 21 2014 FIXED: US Accent Gate Agent re-recorded as the current version sounded a bit echoey. Keyboard/Joystick assignment for Hard Mute. FO turns off Dome Light properly during Before Start flow if flying at night. If ASDEX (ground radar selected) on the Brief Panel, FO will now set the Xponder to TARA during his Before Start Flow. (TARA is not a mistake. In fact, Cathay, for example, leaves their Xponder in TARA all the time). Go Around procedures fixed. (In Voice Control, you can now also all for a Go Around prior to completing the Landing Checklist.) CLEARED / LANDING /NOT CLEARED voice calls will now work prior to the Landing Checklist being completed. FO will reset his Chronometer during his shutdown flow. Foreign language translations in Ops Manual for opening and closing the Main Panel key/joystick assignments corrected. FO will no longer respond to voice commands when he's out on the walkaround. If you reply "SET AND CHECKED" during the Approach Checklist for the Altimeters challenge, the Descent Checklist should no longer play. The "TRANSITION ALTITUDE STANDARD SET" voice call will now work prior to the flaps being fully up. This is useful at airports with very low Transition Altitudes. Thru-Flights Pre-Flight Events reset for Button Control The crew will no longer read back the first 0 (for example, in 0998 HPA) during Altimeter Setting checks. In this case, the crew would simply say 998. The Descent Checklist will now accept "Minimums" values to an extra place. Example: "MINIMUMS ONE ZERO ZERO ONE FEET". FO will turn on landing lights (should they have been turned off during the After Takeoff flow) after a Go Around on a 2nd approach after you call for gear down. Fixed a typo in the installer that referred to the Majestic Dash 8 instead of the PMDG 777 if the PMDG 777 host aircraft was not installed correctly. NEW FEATURES: Right/Left clicking in the black rectangular box on the Brief Page in the DA/DH section will increase/decrease the DA/DH by 100 feet. At the end of the FO's preflight flow, the FO will say he's 'Ready for the Checklist'. PA panel now directly connected to the PA mic button on the 777's audio panel. New button to force the ECL pop-up closed if for some reason it does not close. To use, right-click the current HELP button on the Main Panel. New Cold Weather procedures: During the Before Taxi procedure, speak: "LEAVE THE FLAPS UP FOR TAXI" when you would usually call for the takeoff flaps. Call for the Takeoff Flap prior to running the Before Takeoff Checklist. New speech grammar to accommodate Virgin SOPs: "STABLE, MISSED APPROACH ALTITUDE SET". During the FO's shutdown flow, the FO will reset the Transponder to 2000, and set the MCP Heading to 360, Altitude to 10000 and Speed to 250. FO's shutdown flow time drastically reduced based on feedback from a 777 Cathay Pacific pilot. Takeoff flap setting in the Before Taxi now determined by your Voice Command, rather than the takeoff flap setting selected on the Brief Panel. During the Flight Controls check, the FO will move the Flight Controls page to the Captain's PFD. FO Before Takeoff Flow: FO will now set Terrain and Weather on his side as briefed. The position of the "LOCK" Panel button and "HS" Headset is now saved. The FO's After Landing flow can now be triggered by stowing the speed brake when vacating the runway. Button Control: Transition Altitude selection available prior to Flaps up. A few 'coughing' sounds to help give the impression a human (the FO) is beside you during the flight. NEW VOICE COMMANDS: SET VREF PLUS XXX LEFT/ RIGHT FLIGHT DIRECTOR ON/OFF (PLEASE) SELECT ALTITUDE INTERVENE NAV LIGHTS ON/OFF (PLEASE) BEACON ON/OFF (PLEASE) DOME LIGHT ON/OFF (PLEASE) DISPLAY ENGINE (PLEASE) DISPLAY STATUS (PLEASE) DISPLAY ELECTRICAL (PLEASE) DISPLAY HYDRAULICS (PLEASE) DISPLAY FUEL (PLEASE) DISPLAY AIR (PLEASE) DISPLAY DOORS (PLEASE) DISPLAY GEAR (PLEASE) DISPLAY FLIGHT CONTROLS (PLEASE) DISPLAY CHECKLIST (PLEASE) DISPLAY COMMS (PLEASE) NEW CFG OPTIONS: Option to not run the Weather Test since the PMDG 777 has a bug with the Weather Test that can produce a CTD under rare circumstances. Option to open the ECL pop-up panel even when the ECL is selected as the Checklist type. Option not to run the FO's Pre Flight Events flow. Option to have the FO verbally announces Gear Up/ Gear Down when you command Gear Up or Down. Option to separate the Nose Landing light from the other lights. In Voice Control, the FO will turn on the Nose Wheel Landing light when you call "CLEARED" (as in cleared to land.) Option to have the FO perform the Electrical Power Up procedure. Option to allow stowing the speedbrake after landing to trigger the FO's After Landing Flow. Option to set the Transponder to TARA if ASDEX selected instead of XPONDR.
  2. Dear Pilots, I just wanted to donwload the new update for the PMDG 777, so I went to the homepage, logged into my account, but when I viewed previous orders, there was only the 777.300 expansion listed, which I downloaded, but not the Base Package, which I also bought of course. Seems like The Base Package is just not listed there in previous orders. Now i cant download the new Installer which includes the new update. I also couldn´t find out, where to submit a Ticket. Im very thankful four your advices, what to do, or how to submit a Support Ticket best regards
  3. I have done everything. I've checked my aircraft.cfg, fsx.cfg, looked at my textures to make sure they are there, HERE ARE PICTURES: (I know they are the preview, but it looks the same in the game) PASSENGER VERSION FREIGHTER VERSION I bought this today, and I wasn't expecting this. I need answers now as I'm really eager to fly this. The VC is perfectly fine, no holes, everything works. Its just the exterior. I've also searched over Google and Bing. No answers. NOW SOLVED! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!
  4. I know there are a lot of VAS topics started in the forum about the T7 but it was in my interest to start a fresh one because the others are not FULLY quite my question/comments B) I am currently at CRZ (FL360) after leaving a default airport (Perth) with normal autogen and normal complexity..I only have FTX Global Base 1.3 installed and all my Vector entries are unchecked in my scenery library a long with all airports except the one I am flying into (as always when flying the T7). I left the airport with about 1.6GBs remaining and all was good...half way into my journey now, I have less than half of that. **warning big picture** http://i.imgur.com/EycHfVy.jpgre I am flying into Flytampa's Athens and I could be possibly hit with an OOM and all I have are default everything expect Global and the T7. From take-off to CRZ in the middle of Saudi Arabia where it is literally all dessert how can I leak almost 1GB - 9hrs in? I thought I loaded almost everything in Perth. Can someone break down why it keeps going less and less and less.....I have BELOW moderate settings, and I'm on a good system as well (4790k@4.6 & GTX980). I have more then compensated my sliders/scenery to just fly this thing without always having to worry about an OOM. I never would of thought being almost all default would ever still risk getting slammed with an OOM. comments, questions, concerns gentlemen?
  5. when i manually enter fuel my ZFW changes and flips about. For example the correct one will be 209.1 kgs which then changes to 180kgs or something like that. I get around this by entering another random fuel level so the corrcect ZFW comes back then I re enter the desired fuel from my flight plan. Has anyone noticed this behaviour? (P3D 3.1). If it helps I use a 777 startup panel state of '777 short' but with zero payload and 17% fuel saved

  9. Hi, I have recently got a problem concerning the PMDG 777. I bought the 777 in the Spring 2016. I have only been able to fly it three-four times. It worked great. It was wonderful to fly, but some weeks ago, the minute I got in the air, the sim started freezing for about 10 sec every one minute. It is very annoying. When I'm on the ground, everything is fine, but the minute I get airborn, the freezing starts. I'm not very good at the computer, but I opened the task management and discovered that I used 100% of the processor when I was flying, and when the sim froze, the percentage went down to around 50-60 %. I am using around 50-70% of the RAM when I am flying. This is the only aircraft that has given me these problems, therefore I haven't flown it in a while. Hoping some of you guys know what I can try. My specs are: Lenovo H50-55 Windows 8.1 64- bit Processor: AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 3.10GHz 8 GM RAM Thank You
  10. Hi all, I don't know what is the problem, I cannot load the data from my FMC, when I input the departure airport like VHHH, it said there is not in data base I have the updated AIRAC1701, and I can't even load all my saved flight as well Can somebody help me solve this problem? Thanks Anthony Yuen
  11. Hi sir, I just want to ask a question regarding on my experiences with the ILS for your 777. Im having some problems whenever i go off track of the STAR so that i can take a shorter route but every time i do this, the ILS frequency disappears on my PFD. If i follow the STAR the ILS frequency is still on my PFD and it follows the LOC. One other thing, if i go off track of the STAR and try to line up on the ILS, every time i press the LOC, i can see a HDG on the bottom of LOC. I just want to know on how to do an ILS approach if i go of track of the STAR. I hope to hear from you, sir. Thanks, Francis
  12. Hello Friends I am actually in a transition course to SWISS 777 and for that I installed FSX and B777/200 as well as the iPad-App "virtual CDU777" on my Windows-10 Computer. Everything works fine, however: I can not use my Mouse to control any Switch or Handle in the Cockpit. Always when I push a Mouse Button the Picture disappears and I am back on the Desktop page. Does someone have a Idea what the Problem is or is there another Way to use all the Switches and Handles in the Cockpit ? Thanks for your Help !! Steve "Magarone" / Switzerland
  13. Hey all, so I was doing a route from RKSI to KJFK and I noticed like 6 or so hours into the flight a Low Fuel QTY message pop up on the EICAS screen. I turned off all fuel pumps and put on the center ones. I dont know if i did that right or whar to do in that situation. The L and R fuel tanks were low, like 1.3 and 0.7 but the center tank had like 82.3 in it so i know there is fuel. What should I do?
  14. I recently bought the PMDG 777 to do long haul flights with my friend. I have not had a chance to use it though because it doesn't work. When I spawn in, there's no landing gear, I can't press anything, and my yoke is at full up and full left. Please help me!
  15. Hello, with P3D v4 I noticed some texturing issues. You can clearly recognize, that the fan case has some issues with shadows (ultra setting), and that the inner part of the engine case has no reflections. Comparison P3D v4 + v3: v4: v3: I hope we will see an update soon. Alex
  16. do I need t purchase the 777 again for Prepared v4
  17. Hi, I am not happy because when the 777 came out for P3D v4 today i was going to download the latest installer, so i did, there was one problem is that it would not let me install to P3D V4. I think that this is because i had bought it through the Aerosoft website. When i bought the 747 off the Pmdg website i could download the installer and run it for P3D V4. Is there anyway that this could be helped? Thanks, Hugo
  18. I've only started using FS2Crew recently, and am still in the learning process. Using the tutorial, and FCOM is proving to be an excellent way to success. However, I am having one issue that is beginning to drive me nuts. I've searched the forum, and FAQ, and can't really find it addressed. So, please bear with me. My FS2C is configured to use 777's ECL. I understand, to a degree, that due to SDK limitations, FS2C interacts with it using virtual mouse-clicks, and not direct control via the SDK. While I've read that, I definitely have not internalized what that means in terms of "you should / should not do X". Specifically... On several flights so far, my FO has lost ability to show me the ECL. He does seem to be going through it, while I stare at the blank/black 2D popup, or in some cases some other screen (STAT, for example). While, sure, I can use "set and checked" wildcard responses, or paper checklist I prefer to not do that, unless I have to. Once or twice, I was able to "recover" the ECL into an usable state, by going through the previous checklist, asking FO to show display something else, etc, but I can't seem to find an exact pattern that would recover the ECL into the state that FO can reliably use it from that point on. What am I doing wrong? I am using P3Dv4, and to the best of my knowledge, the latest FS2C and 777. P.S. I have tried the obvious of completely uninstalling FS2C, reinstalling it, and making sure it was configured, and working.
  19. I have just bought the 777-200 base package and I'm very annoyed. Not having a regular income means that this is a big price to pay for me. I am not able to press or move anything in the cockpit. The aircraft is in a cold and dark state with the throttle levers at TOGA and the yokes fully back and fully left. The only thing I can control is the brakes on the aircraft either with my toe brakes or a button on the back of the yoke. The gear isn't showing outside (yet I am at the correct height as if the gear is extended). The mouse only changes to the PMDG one over the 2 inside nobs for the Baro/Radio altitude and the altimeter. I have reinstalled the 777 many times and have overwritten my FSUIPC install. (I can't figure out how to uninstall FSUIPC and the internet doesn't seem to help much). I have reinstalled the D irect X settings and Simconnect all to on avail. Please someone help me before I explode at PMDG.
  20. Hello. I know there are several threads concerning VAS usage. I also know PMDG rather staunchly asserts there is no VAS leakage with the 747. However, I thought I would start a new thread and toss in what I have discovered. I tried four times to fly from KABQ to LEST. All four attempts failed in an OOM at about three hours into the flight. I finally took the 777 and successfully completed the 10-hour flight. I got to thinking about the major differences between the 74 and the 77 and wondering why, despite PMDG's assertions to the contrary, the 74 seemed to be leaking memory. The major difference is the addition of ground service vehicles for the 74. Therefore, I determined to fly back to KABQ from LEST in the 74 but not request any PMDG ground vehicles. The only ground service I called for was ground power. This GPU is not drug into position by any vehicle. I did, however, use all the GSX ground services available. I successfully completed this 10-hour flight with no problems, though the 74 still seems to burn more memory than the 77. I obtained this information from the flight log files generated by FSUIPC. I did not change any of my FSX configuration settings between these flights, so I deem them negligible. What is important is that the FSX environment was the same for all three flights. I humbly submit the foregoing information for your, the forum's, evaluation. (I would have attached the three log files, but there does not seem to be a way to do this.) Eugene N. Kilmer
  21. On my yesterdays overnight flight i forgot set altitude bug for initial climb level before going to sleep. So the aircraft leveled at FL200 for exact 8 hours. When i came back, i saw the aicraft still cruising at FL200 so i checked fuel prediction. It showed the same 12 tons at arriving in klax as calculated before t/o. I wouldn't say that's normal behaviour. :Shame On You:
  22. Hello, I've just bought the 777 base back at aerosoft.com. I have a big complicatet problem, i try to tell what happens. When i start a flight with the 777 (with fmc etc.) all is great. Then i take off and and fly a bit manual later on i put on the autopilot and i engage LNav and VNav. The plane is following the route and climbs. But at one point the problems are starting: First I get a CabinAlt waring with 999999 ft. 30 seconds later i get something like a autopilot disagree so the ap, Lnav, Vnav is engaged but the plane slowly starts getting off the route, accelerating and do what it want's. At this point I switched AP modes to heading select, speed and alt hold. Still no reaction from the plane. Now i disangaged the AP and the aircraft starts spinning in the air like it has a million tons of cargo in its back. There is no control at all it just spinns around. Need help! I spended 80€ and now i can't do a simple flight
  23. Was wondering if this is simulated in the NGX and 777 btw. I do not seem to see it anywhere... Pls see the speed tape in the PFD @14:46 in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6UHAl1Ysyg&t=888s Thank you Ahmed Saleh
  24. Got a rather odd one here for y'all.... So, the other day I had a flight going in the 772LR. I'm at cruise alt, everything is going fine. I fire up World of Warships (and YES I've reached out to them about this, they said "We suggest to communicate with the support dedicated to the game you are having issues with"), and I'm mid-game when all of a sudden I hear "Ten Thousand Feet", which I should NOT be hearing. I switch over (I'd already gotten sunk at that point), and sure enough I'm in a high-speed, steep dive. LONG story short, for some reason the 747 and 777 end up doing a roller-coaster flight path, which shouldn't be happening as WoWs (PER their tech support), "is designed not to conflict with other applications"; yet, it's messing with the 747, 777, as well as smartCARS (Microsoft .net framework error). Mouse yoke is NOT on, so I know that's not causing it. I'm NOT using My stick & throttle outside FSX, so I know that ain't the cause. I'm honestly at a loss as this should not be happening. I'm able to stop the roller-coastering if I exit the game. REALLY odd thing is..it does it not only IF I'm in battle, but also IF I'm just sitting there in port (for those who have never played, this is "port" http://prntscr.com/j5h93y and yes, I love My battleships, as you will see...for those familiar with the Navy). I'm honestly at a loss here. 99% of My flights are long-haul (15+ hrs) - usually KDFW - YSSY & back (744ER) or KBOS - YBTL & back (772LR) , and the occasional short trip to KSEA from KBOS to put the 772LR into maintenance (every 100 flight hrs). Thoughts? Ideas? (and spare Me the "don't play the game during your flights" responses as that ain't remotely helpful). i have to admit....this has Me baffled...
