AS6 & Flight Environment

Featured Replies

Hi All:I would like to improve the visual effects to the overall rendition of water in FS2004. Just wondering if adding Flight Environment will accomplish this for me. Currently am running AS6, GE Pro and UT.I also have Rail Simulator by Kuju to which I have an addon route that displays water at an incredible realistic level like nothing I have ever seen in FS9. I do not have FSX so I have no measure of comparison to FS2004. My card is the Nvidia 8500GT.Would appreciate any thoughts.ThanksChris

Thanks Jim.I have tried the freeware programs that Peter has released over the years. I was just wondering if his Flight Environment was anything different than his freeware releases. I'll venture over to the Flight One forums.

Jim:I was referencing file "pwover15.zip" here in the library that has some water effects & textures. Just wondered if his FE program (ref water effects & textures) was anything different than what was offered in the free "pwover15.zip".ThanksChris

OK Jim.That was my original request hoping that some users of AS6 had also purchased FE and could give me some indication if they thought FE added/detracted or saw no changes in the water textures. Thanks for your continued great support and feedback.
