MAAM DC3

Featured Replies

GunfighterI'm sure this has been covered, but I can't find it. When should we expect a patch for the DC3 relative to FS2004? If no patches, any tips on converting?? I'm not having much luck -lots of crashes. Thanks. Greg.

Hi Greg,To the best of my knowledge, there will be no patches for the FS2000/2002 version of the R4D to make them work in the new sim. One of many reasons for this is that there are simply too many differences to patch.A full new version of the aircraft is in development - pictures of Jan's model can be found elsewhere on this forum. :-)Bill isn't around at the moment to give any more details, but I'm sure he'll chip in when he returns to an internet connection!Ian P.:-halo

Hi, I just wrote Bill Rambow last week, and he dropped me a note to let me know that the new R4-D6 will be released on Sept. 29, 2003 at the AVSIM Convention at MAAM's homefield. I'm guessing it will be available for download or mail order that day, or soon after. I doubt I'll be first, but my wife and budget permitting, I will order it soon. :)

Greetings!I was wondering if the new MAAM DC3 will also work in FS2K2?Sure hope so since I won't be into the new sim for quite some time.Regards,ScottKJMS
