Does any one know whether the R4D fuel consumptiom matches that of the default FS9 DC-3?As I intend to join the DC-3 World Rally, where either aircraft can be used, this is important, as fuel consumption is one of the qualifying factors.I can, of course, make a test trip, but I would feel more confident if someone else already had that experience.Regards,

As I had no answer to my question, I made my own investigations, and the results were as follows:The fuel consumption for different aircraft can be different. The FS9 flight planner, for the same flight, estimates the following fuel consumptions, the flight time being the same for the three aircraft:FS9 DC-3: 95 glsMAAM DC-3: 87 glsMAAM R4D: 99 glsI have made the same flight with the three aircraft and the results are lower than the estimate but roughly proportional (the flight time was in all cases longer than the FS estimate).In the particular case of the two MAAM aircraft I would like to know whether the above difference is intentional, i.e., reflecting differences in the two actual versions. Maybe the design team can clarify!Regards,
