My curiosity overwhelms me, I can keep from asking this question no longer. :) On the MAAM DC-3 panel )on what we jet jockeys would call the "glareshield," I guess) there's some stenciled writing: "CARB ALCOHOL WINDS ALCOHOL WIPERS", then the words "LEFT" and "RIGHT", and four knobs or similar items. What is all that? I guess it's on the real R4D-6 at MAAM, but I can't figure out what it is or what those knobs might be. I think those are controls for windshield de-icing and wipers. Ed W.
