July 11, 200520 yr Hey gang. For some reason my Sperry AP has decided it's time to mess with me...or (more likely) I've done something that has whacked it. It acts completely normal when on the ground. Once airborne it will no longer adjust in single digit increments (heading) and, instead, moves 10 degrees for every click. I'm not quite sure what I've done to cause this, but can you guide me in the right direction? Darn thing was working perfectly 2 weeks ago. I've NEVER had a problem with the MAAM-SIM DC3 before, so I'm at a loss for the reason. Yes...I've done many things, in the last 2 weeks...added aircraft, add-on programs, etc.etc. I know your going to ask but since I haven't used the AC in 2 weeks I have NO idea what started the problem. I rely heavily on the Sperry for long flights...once I'm at altitude and heading...and would really like it to work as it did before. Any ideas, at all, as to what is causing this? Any help is, as always, greatly appreciated. Vic Victor Buck
July 12, 200520 yr VicIt has ALWAYS moved 10 degrees for every click. One day we'll get this sorted but, for now, the only way around this issue is to USE YOUR MOUSE WHEEL to make small changes, which will allow more progressive adjustments. For major course alterations, the Sperry should be disengaged as I think you know; then, reengaged once the aircraft is established on a new heading.Hope this helps.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
July 12, 200520 yr Author Sheesh! That's embarrasing! I could blame it on all the various aircraft I've been flying lately, with all their little quirks, or I can be honest and say that "Senior Moments" are becoming more frequent! Let's just go with that last one. LOL! Thanks Mark.ps. There enough little things in FS9 without making up more! Victor Buck
