October 26, 200520 yr Hi Mark>Just one thing, on the offchance that sometimes the obvious is>easy to overlook in one's frustration: I'm sure you have the>starting sequence right (you must have practiced it enough!)>but you are moving the mixture levers up to full rich,>presumably?Yes, I have the starting sequence right and yes, again, I have the mixture set to fully rich. The peculiar thing, though, is that even using the good old CTRL+E cheat won't start her from a saved flight :-hmmm Thanks for your suggestions. If you have any more please let me know.BTW, do YOU have to have a spot view open in order to start her?David
October 26, 200520 yr >BTW, do YOU have to have a spot view open in order to start>her?Hmmm ... I always save my flights in spot view, out of habit. So when I load up a saved flight, I see the aircraft sitting there in whatever beautifully composed finishing shot I left it in :) and then go aboard. And (reading another post of yours) I always start up in 2D panel mode, although I do fly from VC when cruising. I tend to use the 2D panel for serious 'switch' work, though, as with Active Camera installed and the latency it gives, trying to alter radios and so on from VC is just silly. I get disorientated enough flying with 20 other pilots in multiplayer without having to chase buttons all over my screen!I shall try start ups in VC, though, and having saved flights that way, and see what happens for me.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
