ok, bizzarly, for some reason, the left and right hand root is picked up from the starboard side, even if the port side tail is blank.Therefore now I have the fun of trying to match up the port and starboard tail

Nothing bizzare about it really; to get the shades of paint to match on both sides over the top of the ridge, it makes sense only to pick up the texture from one place.Yes, you'll have to work at matching things up, for sure; but then you've picked yourself a very tricky VA livery! yep just seems so different than other paintkits I've used, like POSKY, PMDG and so on.I'll try again when in work tomorrow. Fingers crossed
