December 29, 200223 yr Anybody know how to change the N-numbers on the AI aircraft so that I can at least have a few Canadians flying in Canadian airspace. MS thinks that nothing but USA registered planes are flying in the world.http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifRC3 - Just gotta' have it!http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifhttp://www3.telus.net/dport1/dansig.jpg
December 29, 200223 yr Project AI modifications will change the tail numbers to those appropriate for the airline. The GA modification will change the tail numbers of aircraft so that they are appropriate for the area the aircraft is flying in.
December 29, 200223 yr Use TTools, available in the avsim library, to decompile your ai traffic. Then, go into the flight plans file and find the routes that you wish to change the tail number for, do your business, and then recompile. I kind of think there may be another add-on that might do it with less effort on your part, but I don't know what it is offhand; I do just about all my flying within the United States and haven't bothered to change anything along those lines. This method really isn't that hard and will make a lot more sense once you download ttools and take a look at the decomiled files. Good luck!-Rob
December 29, 200223 yr Author Someone set up us the bomb! :DI recommend you install the Project AI GA update. It will do all this automatically. There's a program that will change the tail-numbers automatically, but I forgot where to find it :( -
