July 29, 200718 yr Hi, I can no longer see the ground to taxi or takeoff when using virtual cockpit in FSX, when I am in the ground. I could see the ground in front of the airplane perfectly in FS9. Is there a way to adjust the FSX virtual cockpit view? Best regards. Orlando.
July 29, 200718 yr HiMoving the default virtual cockpit seat is a simple matter of modifying the Aircraft.cfg file in the "view" section. it is located down near the bottom of the file. Its easy to tweak it to move your seat to whatever works the best. The first number is front/back, second is left/right and last is up/down measured in feet from a reference location.Below is a modification I made to another plane recently[Views]eyepoint=-10.10, -1.0, 3.4//eyepoint=-10.90, -1.0, 3.7 original default settingsEnjoy - with a little effort, you can make the default view be anywhere in the plane.Paul
July 30, 200718 yr 'TrackIR 4' is an awesome addon. Probably the best ever for flightsim and I can confirm that it gives the MAAMsim DC-3 that 'actually being there' feeling so much so, you will never lose sight of anything that you would want to see in reality. Dave Taylor
