Bill has been up the creek with his paddle - he is a marathon kayaker, and was last heard of somewhere in the white water of western Maryland - I've been grabbing the last of the sunny and windy weather in Long Island Sound on various go-faster sailing boats, and Jan was last heard of setting off through the waterways of Holland in his rather lovely new motor yacht. Ah, the spoils of wealth!Other MAAM-SIM members are probably also enjoying what has been a remarkable summer (thanks, Nobel-Prize-winner Gore) but we will get to focus on our various boxes in dark corners shortly, we promise.Particularly, as there are a few posts below that are as yet unanswered, which is not our usual style (we tend to rattle on even if we DON'T know all the answers :) ) and we apologise for keeping loyal supporters waiting.
