Transparent Engines on DC-3 in FSX

Featured Replies

I just reinstalled the MAAM SIM DC-3 in FSX with the necessary patch for compatibility issues. Everything seems to work fine, but when I looked at the engines I could look right through them. I turned off the engines but the only thing I saw was the engine casing with nothing in it. The props actually do show. Is there a fix for this problem?I'm running FSX + Acceleration. Thanks for any help :) Ludo

Ludo, Yes, it's the SP2 within the Acceleration pack that has caused this and I believe that there is a fix on the MAAMsim website now to remedy this although I haven't used it. I still only use SP1.

Hey Dave, I have checked the MAAM SIM forums and I can't seem to find a fix for my problem. I did copy the the prop textures from the B25J and pasted them in the DC-3 texture folder, but it made no difference :( . Can you provide me with a direct link to this fix you're talking about! I would really like to be able to fly my DC-3. Thanks for any help :) .Ludo
