March 26, 200818 yr Have bought the CD, 9th edition for the R4D/DC3 for FS2004 and installed it in FS9, and everything works great. However I was wondering if it's possible to remove the yoke when in VC mode, as it tends to hide NAV1 and ADF instruments. Have tried both normal model and med VC model but both have the yoke showing when in VC mode. Many thanks Ted Holmes
March 26, 200818 yr Yes. There's a fix on the MAAM website.http://www.maam.org/flightsim/enhance/r4d_enhance.htmJust click on the Yokes Removal Free Enhancement.

March 28, 200818 yr Ted...From the depths of my memory:I believe you can get rid of the yoke in the original passenger (UAL)and cargo (BEA) DC-3 in the following manner...1. Note there are 2 mdl folders for ea aircraft; full VC and medium VC.2. In the medium VC mdl folder there should be 2 mdl files; one followed by -Y.3. Change the model.cfg file in the medium VC folder to point to the -Y mdl file.4. Now, your MAAM DC-3 with the medium VC should be sans yoke. Full VC still has it. 5. These are the only 2 MAAM goons you can do this with but there are plenty of repaints for variety provided you direct them to the medium VC in the aircraft.cfg file.6. Hope my memory was accurate.Happy FlyingRoy
