December 29, 200223 yr I added an autopilot to one of my planes that did not have one. I intalled a new stack with the autopilot and in the aircraft.cfg I added a 1 next to the autopilot. I have a small problem, the airplane will follow alt. but it will not change headings. What else do I have to change to get the aircraft.cfg to bank and follow a heading in the autopilot mode?David AlbrightFAA Flight dispatcherSingle and Mult-engine rated pilot500 hours Real PIC2000 hours Sim PICSim Test Pilot
December 29, 200223 yr Is the heading set on the autopilot or on a gauge? Do you have a button to turn on the heading function? Bill Sieffert
December 29, 200223 yr Yes I do have the heading set on the gauge and it still will not go into the bank towards the heading.David AlbrightFAA Flight dispatcherSingle and Mult-engine rated pilot500 hours Real PIC2000 hours Sim PICSim Test Pilot
