AFCAD help!

Featured Replies

Hey everybody. I don't know if you guys are into the more technical aspects of FS2002 and I don't know whether you will be able to help, but I will ask anyways. In afcad, I am trying to make my home aiport (CYXU, in London, Ontario, Canada, about 200KM SW of Toronto) use all the runways as active runways. This would be easy if they were paralell but unfortunately they are intersecting. I don't want Simulatenous Intersecting Runway Operations, I just want ATC to give me (for example) runway 09 if the winds are 14G24KT@090 MAG, INSTEAD of giving me runway 15, which is silly for that kind of crosswind. The runways that exist are 33/15, and 27/09 and they intersect. I've tried adding ILS to all the runways, making the runway lengths the same, etc, but the only thing that works is elimanting all the ILS facalities and making the runways the same length. However I want to retain the ILS facalities for when I fly IFR. Any suggestions, solutions, or even websites you can forward me to would be great. THanks for the help.

I'm not sure why adding ILS's didn't work for you - should work fine if all ends of all runways have ILS's in AFCAD and they are the same length.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
