Limits to cockpit sharing.

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but I am looking at using the cockpit sharing aspect within a multi PC setup - sort of like a WideView setup without WideView and with the ability to have guages over more than one PC.What are the limitations to this, can a cockpit only be shared by two clients?Thanks...

you could try having 2 gamespy logins and log one in on each computer...

I can already log two in over the lan - it will take more - but I was hoping someone would say that you can share the cockpit over more than 2 clients but I don't think you can. This allows guages over two machines though so that's pretty good.

It's limited to only two sharing the cockpit. When shared skies was first unannounced I thought of the same thing you mentioned. It would be great to be able to span your cockpit among a number of computers. That would free up resources for the main computer.Maybe in a future version, they'll consider having a a flight crew as a feature (just as gate.to), instead of just the Pilot and Copilot.Though limited as it is, the shared skies is still a nice addition.-- L.
