MSVCRT.DLL error in FS2002?

Featured Replies

Hi and happy new year to everyone , recently iam experiencing a fairly irritating situation when opening fs2002 . iam getting this fault

Henry,A while ago I started to suffer the same error messages. I asked around on all the message boards but no one could help in any meaningful way.The only way I was able to get rid of the error messages was to reinstall FS2002 (renamed the FS2002 folder to "old fs2002" and installed FS2002 from scratch). That solved all my problems.DougNYC

Hi doug , pls don

It appears you have a bug in a poorly written third party program. Check out KB Article 190536 at Microsoft support (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;190536) for additional info. Looks like your only solution is to uninstall and reinstall. You may want to first try to uninstall any 3d party software you recently installed in FS2K2 and see if that fixes the problem. Good luck!Jim
