Help, I'm going around in circles...literally!

Featured Replies

Hi,Would appreciate some help here. I am using CH Flight Sim Yoke and Pro Pedals - both USB devices. I recently installed CH Control Manager version 3 after uninstalling the previous version and using CHDelete to remove all traces. All seems fine until I enter Slew mode in the sim at which point the world immediately starts spinning from right to left until, that is, I nudge the Pro Pedals and stability returns.I haven't been able to figure out what could be wrong. I've tried recalibration and setting up a null zone in FSUIPC but still no joy. I've restored default settings in the sim, setup null zones for the pedals and still same story. This did not happen before when I did not interface via CM (I didn't use CM as I didn't know how, and now I would like to learn how to set it up properly), i.e. direct USB connection of the controllers, but it happens now even when I bypass CM and connect my devices directly and they show up accordingly under Game Controllers. All very frustrating! Can anyone help, please?Mike

I have had the same problem and found I needed to turn the realism settings, espically the general and the gyro settings back to zero. This seemed to cure the problem.Chuck

Hi Chuck,Thanks for your input. Good to know I'm not alone!Since posting, I've discovered that I can 'workaround' the problem by reinitialising the Pro Pedals while in the sim - I perform a quick physical disconnect, allowing XP time to acknowledge the fact, and then I reconnect and all seems well. Slightly irritating, but I suppose it will have to do meantime in the absence of any other suggestions.Cheers!Mike
