New Simmer Question - Banking on takeoff

I have just intalled FS 2002 and have done some preliminary reading and flying. My question is this - as I takeoff I am having difficulty keeping any aircraft flying level. I am using the default realism settings and am using a Thrustmaster control stick. No matter how centered the stick is as I lift off the plane will begin to bank. THanks for any help.

If you're flying a GA plane such as the 172 and it is banking to the left, that is normal. You need to add a little right rudder to counteract it. The tendancy to pull to the left should decease a bit when you reduce the throttle for cruise.Good luck.-Lindy :-wave

Welcome to the forum.This is normal for the plane to bank to the left because the plane's propeller is turning that way, try correcting with a little rudder.Hope this helps

Steve:I agree with Lindy, in that that bank induced by engine torque is normal for GA aircraft. I do not, however, experience any substantial banking after rotation in the heavy airliners I usually fly. One possible exception might be in high crosswinds, but even then it's usually heading drift left or right vs any uncommanded banking.
