There are a couple of things you can try.........First try booting to "last known good configuration" To do this hit F8 and choose from the boot list. If that doesn't work .............You say you already have hal.dll( I think it's not hall.dll)on a diskette (Floppy). Start your PC in MSDOS using a Win98 or ME startup disk and copy the file from the A:/ drive to C:/Windows/Sys32.Dave
