new video card wanted

Hello - I'm new here and I have searched and found some answers but I guess I'm looking for simplicity...if possible. I have a three year old Dell 8200 P4 1.7ghz machien with 640MB of RDRAM (not good, right?. My video card is the NVidia Ti200 - image quality with most things is fine but framerates with FS2004 are pretty sluggish - 10-12fps on average at most airports with sliders no more than midway. i do use Ultimate traffic as well. Once in the air, framerates go up to around 16-17. I intend on upgrading the entire computer at some point but my question is, if I buy a 9200 or a 9600 ATI card - will I go into absolute shock at how great the improvment is? Thanks for any advice. I don't want to sink a lot of money into this upgrade as when I eventually buy a new PC, I'll get one of the newer cards that will be current at that time.Steve

You will most definiatly not be shocked by the 9200. You will hardly see any difference whatsoever. The 9600 you will see a real difference though depending on what 9600 you got. I think there is 9600se 9600 9600 PRO 9600XT and perhaps more models out. Some which are pure crap so be careful. Otherwise I don
