How much could you consider spending? If you are on a budget you could start with adding 512 more RAM that will help a lot. And then a 9800 PRO 128 or similar get what you can afford :) If you can buy used you should be able to find cheap 9700 cards or even Geforce 4 ti cards on ebay :)

Yes the 5200 FX will fit no problem at all. But if you are on a tiny budget look if you can get hold of a Geforce 4 ti 4200 or ti4800 or similar preferrable with 128 mb of RAM. That will be both cheaper and faster than the 5200 FX :)
