Video card driver cleanup

Featured Replies

On checking my fs9.cfg file I now find two sections for the graphics driver:{DISPLAY.Device.Matrox Parhelia 128MB - English.0}and{DISPLAY.Device.Matrox Parhelia 128MB - .0}I know it's bad news to have two such entries but I cannot find which of these two is the current one and which should be deleted. Can anyone tell me where to check? I've looked in the Display Settings, DXDiag and in MSInfo but without success.boneshttp://fsaviation.nethttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg

I think FS gets the information from the driver's .nfo file (but I could be wrong). In any case, you can just delete both entries. When you fire up FS the next time, it will write a new entry to the FS9.cfg.Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Thanks Gosta.I will do as you suggest but I was still hoping find the info I need - purely out of curiosity. I have amended the fs9.cfg file in the past when I changed the video card but it was so long ago I forget where I got the reference from!boneshttp://fsaviation.nethttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpg
