February 8, 200521 yr Hello all,I've got a problem with one of my two USB HUB's not being recognised after starting up my PC. I'll receive an error message similar to "USB hardware is not recognised" (in the local language), when trying to re-engage the USB Hub (plug-and-play, eh?). Trying to de- and re-install the USB cures the problem for only a short while. This is very annoying as half of my "toys" consequently are un-useable (see below). Any ideas what this could be? Driver conflict or something similar?Best regards,Michael SachsIntel 4 2.66GHzRAM 768MB RAMWindows XP Home Edition (Service pack 2) DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0cDevice Name: CH PRO PEDALS USBDevice Name: CH FLIGHT SIM YOKE USBDevice Name: GoFlight GF-RP48Device Name: GoFlight GF-T8 control moduleDevice Name: GoFlight GF-LGT control moduleDevice Name: GF-166Device Name: GF-MCP Advanced Autopilot
March 23, 200719 yr How many USB ports do you have on your PC? Try a different port to the one that gives you this message. Do you have hi-speed 2.0 USB ports? Are you plugging both of your hubs into them ? I have a lot of GoFlight and CH hardware and find that if I plug the GF-MCP AP directly into a USB 2.0 port on the PC, it works better. It likes a dedicated port best of all. More stable and reliable.Difficult to imagine a conflict on your PC with something as straightforward as GF and CH hardware.
