February 19, 200521 yr How often should you calibrate? Is it just based on operation?I don't have the CH Control Manager software installed, just the native XP drivers..Thanks!Barry
February 19, 200521 yr Greetings Barry!Fairly often the CH Control Manager messes up things instead of improving them, so sticking to the generic XP stuff is not a bad idea at all. How often should you calibrate? Only when you notice things being "off"; otherwise leave well enough alone. If you have FSUIPC, you can also calibrate from there. I believe it's only in the payware version, which you should have anyway because of its loads of goodies. FSUIPC offers many options that you won't find elsewhere.Have fun!Jaap Verduijn.
February 19, 200521 yr Hello Jaap,I too have CH flightsim yoke and pro pedals USB. When you say the Control manager messes up things - can you give me an example? I have had some over-sensitivity issues, particularly with the rudder and rudder trim and wanted to know what sensitivity percentages (%) you use. I use around 80-85% for the rudder, rudder trim, elevators and ailerons, but leave the throttle at 100% as reducing throttle sensitivity causes serious throttle malfunctions in FS2004.Thanks for any input you may have.John I love flying my "iddy biddy Jumbo" CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, socket 775/3GHz/1333MHz bus/6MB cache MOBO: Asus P5E3 Deluxe WiFi-AP@n/Intel X38 chipset RAM: 4GB Kingston HyperX 1333MHz. rated 7-7-7-20, matched pair (2 x 2GB) GRAPHICS: Sapphire Radeon 5770HD 1GB (w/ fan) MONITOR: Samsung 24", 2494HM LCD wide-screen 1920x1080 SOUND: SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS HARD DRIVES: 1xWestern Digital WD1600JD SATA 160GB (primary/Windows XP and system boot drive) 1xWestern Digital WD3200AAJS SATA2 320GB (secondary/Flight Simulator 2004 running off WinXP Pro 32-bit, games video editing drive) 1xWestern Digital 500GB Black series SATA2 (Windows 7 64-bit: FSX is running off Win7; Windows XP Professional 32-bit) CASE: Antec Sonata III 500W OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit for FSX; Windows XP Pro 32-bit for other things.
