Cockpit view delay

When I fly in cockpit view and look to left or right, then return to cockpit view I sometimes get a 2-3 second delay where the sim freezes before resuming. Also happens if I change from say, spot-plane to cockpit. It seems more pronounced with the larger, custom panels. It only happens in FULLSCREEN mode. In window mode, the transition is seamless using any panel. Anyone else have this problem? Any tips?GeForce4 128DDR512MB PC2700 Gigabyte 845PEWindows XP Home

Fast ram and fast video card. I still cycle my cockpit views while sitting on the runway before takeoff. Once I do that, all inflight changes are instant. Same with spot view. Cycle it on the runway.

Are you using the same resolution in window and full screen mode? Windowed mode is controlled by right clicking your desktop, select properties, settings tab.Full sceen mode is controlled within fs2002, under options, settings, display, Hardware Tab.

Like mentioned above, cycle all your views (internal/external) on the ground before doing anything else. And make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card and the latest DX9 from MS. Sounds like you have an older card. I had that problem once before, but it was on an old Voodoo5 card. Now everything runs smooth.Mike Baumann
