After nearly 2 years loyal service, my trusty Graphics Card is to be retired :)In it's place will shortly be a Gainward GeForce 6600GT Golden Sample "GLH".My question is this; Do I have to install the drivers for this Card? I quote the remarks from a friend "Should be easy to install - no drivers to change as it is Nvidia". This Drivers I have installed are 66.93 WHQL will these drivers be OK? Nvidia have issued another Driver Update - 71.89 WHQL.I would appreciate your comments; I usually installed drivers that come enclosed in the pack when installing new Hardware, then Update them if necessary.KenSomerset, England

Ken, I just updated my drivers to 71.89 and I use your OLD card. They look pretty good. With your new card I would always get nVidia's latest drivers. The only time I have trouble with drivers is when I use some of the "beta" drivers.BobDenver

Hi Bob,Thanks for your reply; I have now installed the 71.89 drivers in readiness for the 6600GT Card. I only use WHQL Drivers, unless pushed, I had quite a struggle way back using beta drivers.I didn't mean to 'talk down' the Ti4200 Card :) - it's done a great job for me, I'd recommend it to anyone. Main reason I'm getting the 6600GT Card is for the VIVO feature, not many Cards offer it, except for the PCI Express types. My PC is not up to that, nor is my wallet!Ken,Somerset, England
