May 31, 200521 yr http://apps.ati.com/ir/PressReleaseText.as...eleaseID=714857I wonder if this has any positive effects with Flight Sim?
May 31, 200521 yr The fact that their technology is not game dependant will give them a leg up on nVidia. Currently there are fewer than 100 games that can utilize nVidia's SLI, and of course FS is not one of them. It'll be interesting to see how ATI's new offering unfolds. I'm a litle unsure about jumping into their new chipset (me thinks it needs some time to mature). One thing's for sure... bring plenty of money :-) .Greg
June 1, 200521 yr Pics and more info here (looks like a couple of video cards with a motherboard attached :-) ).Greg
June 1, 200521 yr It certainly looks interesting, esp if its true that games don't have to be specifically written for it. You gotta love ATI.
June 1, 200521 yr More like a bunch of heatsinks and fans with some PCB's attached...That setup's gotta consume power and produce heat like a whole server farm :-lol -
