Sensitivity with joystick(s)

hausdingN204SI have a newer pc with all upgrades and updates to Win XP, lots of memory and processor speeds (?).When I try to use my Saitek Graphite stick with even the instructional flying for beginners the "uppy - downy" and the "lefty - righty" control inputs are so slight (breath or belch) that the planes fly erractically and the inputs continue to 'porpoise' until the planes are out of control. I can't fly straight and level even after adjusting the MSN 2004 Flight Sim sensitivity slides........any sticks for sale with more adjustment or a way to slow down the planes response to fly normally? Saiteks tech support didn't provide much in the way of solving this issue.Thank you, free beer for answers to this quandry and a solution to let me use the flight sim for fun and instruction.SidAlpena, MI

I just wanted to belong, and asked what I thought was a simple and sincere question that would enable me to get going and enjoy the sim and gaming, along with refreshing my pilot's skills...........not to be.No answers to the question and no improvement in my gaming skills because of it.SOL......... :-(Sid

Hi Sid; Sure don't want you to feel neglected here. Probably the reason youdidn't get a responce to your question was no body had, what they felt, was a genuine answer to your problem. Neither do I, for that matter. Now having said that: Under sensitivity, asuming you have those slidersto the far left, try reducing the "repeat" function and see if that helps. Now I have no knowledge of Saitek products so this may not work at allbut its free:-lol DNProfessional Tourist

hausdingN204SWell, hallaluya, and I got my DSL problems figured out yesterday too!:-)Thank you very much for replying and giving any advice or ideas. I will try that.I'm not sure its the particular stick, could be me. Does anyone else have the flying probs I have described when they first start out. I mean, I can fly a real plane......hundreds of hours worth, but the little sim throws me all over and up and down.Nice weather this weekend and good time should be had by all.......Thanks again, SidAlpena, Mi 49707

Hey Sid; One other thing you might try is to increase the "Null" zone settings " I mean, I can fly a real plane......hundreds of hours worth, but the little sim throws me all over and up and down." :-xxrotflmao Yup know exactly what you mean I can barely fly theExtra with my CH yoke.:-fume You'll get the hang of it:-hang :-wave DennyProfessional Tourist

hausdingN204SOkay, thought I had done all I could within the sim game, but will look again. Was hoping there might be a stick for sale out there somewhere that would have an extra "null" zone or sensitivity slide set to 'retardo' or something equally basic......... :-)Sid
