HiI have the SIS 648 chipset and I think that is why I always freeze-crash very soon into FS9 when I set the AGP=8. Had the EXACT same issue as you. We practically have the same setup. Do a search on my name as I think I ran a thread on what I did. Basically it all had to do with drivers... for the MB, for the BIOS, for the ATI card...drivers-drivers-drivers! ;)
