Quite a Mystery

Featured Replies

I have run out of ideas on how to deal with this on-going issue. Almost every time (almost, because it works right once-in-awhile) I fly around the Metro Detroit area I get a crash to black screen. Thought it was the add-on for KDTW, removed that, still there. Removed every other add-on for the Metro Detroit area, no change. I even changed vid cards (swithced out a 6800 Ultra for a ATI X850Pro)still blacking out. I can fly the same aircraft with the same weather during the same time of day anywhere else without this problem. I am about ready to boycott flying into and out of the Detroit area (even though I live there) to get away from this problem. Open to any and all ideas.Regards,Joe

Probably a bad tile. Try running your bgl files through Flight Sim Manager. It is free and usually fixes scenery-related problems fairly well.Good luck.
