Hi allTried the other forum with no luckcouple of days ago my ATC started to sound very SLOW and DEEP,like a MONSTER FROM the DEEP!!!very scary sounding..any ideas what could be causing this??ATC now sounds like what i would imagine the DEVIL sounds like..scares the #### out of my 9yr old daughter.ive tried rebuilding my FS9.cfg,but still the same..if i could maybe find out what files control the ATC ,i could try replacing them..heres my setupAthlon 350064 939Av8 abit mobo 9391gb ballistix mem running at 333( ctd's when i run at 400)Powercolor 256mb vid cardcoolermaster case with extra fans for memory and mobo thanks steve

The ATC voices are contained in a file named...E:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9SoundUSEnglishBig.gvpBe aware that some payware modifies this file. For instance, I use MyTraffic 2004 v2.1 which patches the USEnglishBig.gvp file to add Airlines and GA callsigns for aircraft that MyTraffic adds to the sim. Perhaps you installed something that modified that file?Anyway, you can find the original USEnglishBig.gvp file in one of the .cab files on your FS2004 CD's, assuming this file is what's causing this strange behavior for you.Hope that helps,OneTinSoldier

thx TINthats a good start..im leaning toward the fact that it might be hardware related,but not sure what could cause it...voice is so slow .its really hard to understand what is being said.but sometimes it is normal for a short while.i do use ultimate traffic.its been ages since i installed it ,but this only started in the last 2-3 days. thanks steve

Hitried changing the usenglishbig.gvp file..problem still same...now im starting to think .Reinstall..all 3gb of it ... any ideas welcome steve

Thats what im about to do... Its been lagging a bit lately.. Thought id clean it up..
