I have a Dell Dimension 8400 with a Pentium 4 3.4G HT , and 1GB of 530 Mhz Ram and a Nvidia 6800 GTO graphics card. . Would I gain anything, expanding the Ram to 2 GB?

Bob, you wouldn't gain anything regarding FS2004 IMHO upgrading to 2GB. You're better off upgrading your videocard to an ATIx800 series.... Read my post regarding the "upgrade" I made to my videocard.....Best regards,Carlitos

I upgraded my RAM to 2 GB's for Battlefield 2 and with the settings I use in it it made a considerable difference for that game, but unfortunately I got no improvement from it in FS2004.Regards,OneTinSoldier
