October 27, 200520 yr I've just purchased the CH Yoke, pedals and the throttle quad, and finding it difficult to set up, yes I can use the default settings, but I would like to make it so if I press one switch up it puts the wheels up, push it down, the wheels go down etc.Apparently the only way I can do this is using a map function in the control software.Fine and dandy, but wouldn't I be reinventing the wheel? Surely someone is able to share one they've made?I have narrowed my flying to four planes - 737, bae146, b1900d and a single prop.Would anyone be interested in sharing their map files, etc?ThanksLaurence
October 27, 200520 yr You don't need to use the CH Control Manager to do what you are wanting to set up. All this can be set up using FS itself, under SETTINGS/CONTROLS/ASSIGNMENTS.Note that the 'G' for gear switch is a toggle, so you cannot set one switch for up and one for down. Or rather, you can, but you'll need to know where the gear is before you hit either of them! The only reason I have created my own map is so that I can have non-FS function on my yoke - in my case, a PTT button for Teamspeak and Roger Wilco. But you are right ... there doesn't appear to be much sharing of map files in the community.Have a look at the CH forum, here, this might help you:http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/ Best,MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
October 27, 200520 yr Hi Laurence,I've included my yoke settings from Fs9.cfg. Notice that the it features gear up and gear down on the leftmost double throw, center-off toggle switch (switches 5 and 6 in the CH docs). It also includes the settings for a dual-throttle setup. While you won't need that, because of your throttle quadrant, I believe that you can set up you Throttle/Prop/Mixture levers for Spoiler/???/Flaps, if you wish. Try it. October 27, 200520 yr Can you get your CHThrottle to do Reverse Thrust without CH Manager???Can you please elaborate if so?Thanks,Carlitos
October 27, 200520 yr Hi, Go to http://www.stickworks.com/ and download the file cmnote02.zip. It contains instructions how to configure the Throttle Quadrant written by Robert L. Church. I used the CH Controlmanager to define the detents - very important! And then I used FSUIPC (licensed) to define throttles and reversers. No problems. Good luck Ulf B
