Featured Replies

Hello, :-)after some long years from Nvidia Grapic Card`s usagei drifted now to an ATI All In Wonder X800XT.She `s arriving the next days i hope .Is anybody able who uses that (or a similiar one )card, to tellme the entry that`s used for that one in the FS9 .cfg ??With my Nvidia it looked like that:(DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA Drivers on Win2K/XP)Mode=1024x768x32I am special interessted on that on: (DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA Drivers on Win2K/XP)as here sometimes the automatic off the CFG. building,if you start FS ,is not doing the right entry here. :-( Also i `m interessted on what the configs for that cardare in Antialising settigs and Anisotrope filtering inyour Driver setting Box is.Any help here would be nice...... :) cheersMario G

Here is what I would do Mario. Rename FS9.cfg to FS9.old. Start FS9 and let it build a new config file. When you exit from FS9, the new config file will have definitions for your ATI card. Cut those definitions from the new file and paste them over the old NVidia defeinitions in the original config file (FS9.old).Delete the new config file and rename FS9.old to FS9.cfg. You should be left with all of you custom setting intact and just your new ATI drivers added to your existing config file. R-

Even easier, just delete all the few lines in the config below the device.name section, then reboot the sim.All you have to do is reset your display preferences - resolution, trilinear, and all other settings remain intact. I always use that technique when updating drivers. Takes seconds.Allcott
