CH Products Button Assignment Suggestions?

Featured Replies

I've recently been lucky to acquire a set of CH products yoke.throttle quadrant and pedals and now I have more buttons than I know what to do with! :-)So I was wondering what sort of button assignments others, with the same products, have?Victor

VictorOn the yoke I use commands like: View_Mode; View_Mode_Rev; Elev_Trim_Dn and _UP; Gear_UP; Gear_DN; Flaps_INCR; Flaps_DECR: Rudder_Trim_LEFT and _RIGHT. On the TQ I use: Brakes; Parking Brakes; Autopilot_off and _on; Landing Lights OFF and ON; Engine_STOP and _START; Abort; Exit. If you visit CH-Hangar.com other users there can help with their favourites.Hope this helpsPeterH

Ok, many thanks.Victor

I just got my yoke (and only a yoke :-() but have found that its worthwhile to learn how to set it up using the CH Control Manager. This allows you to have shift mode for all buttons. For example, I have set parking break as shift mode setting for the gear down lever. I think the neatest thing I've done is to program the hat switch (as opposed to using it in default POV mode) In normal mode, it gives the preset views (forward, forward-right, right, etc...) and in shift mode it gives the pan options (as in regular POV mode). This is really great in VC mode, because now I can see a quick side view without the bother of panning over, then panning back to forward view...--Chris
