LCD 19" problems

Hi Pilots,Hi Pilots,I

Hi Diguero,#1 and #3: See post #12 in this thread: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...g_id=2504&page=With regard to your #2... must be my old eyes but the circles look round to me (I'm also using a 19" LCD at 1280 x 1024). Sorry I can't help with this. And on #4... your video card must now pull a higher resolution, so it will have to work harder. The 5700LE is not the best card for games, and especially gaming with multi monitors. You might consider upgrading.Sorry I can't be more helpful,Greg

As already said, your new monitor is higher res than the 15" so you will see a loss of FPS as res increases. The 5700LE is useless for gaming of any kind. Get rid of it now.....The reason you have oval dials is because the native res of your new screen is 1280 x 1024, which is not a 4:3 aspect ratio, hence the image is slightly stretched.Correct apsect ratio of 4:3 is achieved with 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1600 x 1200The problem now being is that if you run your LCD monitor in anything other than 1280 x 1024 (its native res) then your image will not be that great. This is the reason I bought a Samsung 213T with a 21.3" screen at a native resolution of 1600 x 1200Hope this helps.Glenn
