For those that care...just passing along what now seems eminant...Nvidia partners will be providing a nice little peice of Hardware soon for those of us keeping our AGP rigs a bit longer (finaly)....Expect to see info for the AGP 7800 GS 1-2 weeks?...PCI will see 7900 GTX in March...thats 700+ core and 16-1800 mem!Exactly what hardware will have the fixed aniso? Probably just the 7900...but I hope it is also in the AGP 7800...won't hold my breath though..

Some have reported seeing the 7800 AGP part already as part of a display for actual product that will go on sale 2-06-06 (NDA ends). so you can keep your eys peeled for these already at CompUSA and Bestbuy. However there doesn't seem to be any info yet available on any sites (NDA etc.).

Yep I saw a review for it today on HardOCP and it looks VERY impressive for those who want to go to the 7xxxx series comming from the older gen cards. It has less piplines and a little slower clocks but it does have the new Shader Model 3.0 and thats what the future holds for the games. I assume FSX is going to be using the new 3.0 shaders. Can anyone tell me if I am correct in this assumption?Paul

ever since visiontek moved to ATI and helped them with their drivers, the situations between the companies totally switched. before, ATI had nice cards but bad drivers, now the same can be said of nvidia, and ATI comes through with great drivers and cards. I really wish nvidia would get their act together
