Is anyone running FS9 on a Sempron 3500? They're almost giving those away right now. R-EDIT to add: Oh, if anyone is running FS9 on one,then can you tell me how it works. I've never owned an AMD CPU but I've heard good things about them lately. Would a Sempron 3500 be comparable to a Celeron running at 3.5 GHz? Is that what the 3500 is supposed to signify? R-

Hey there, I'm running FS9 on a Sempron 3100+ and it runs superbly. The 3100+ is clocked at 1.8gHz but performs on par with a 3.0Ghz intel. Plus the one I own is the Palermo build with 64 bit support as well as 32 bit. In FS9 i'm getting 20 FPS with most of the sliders maxed (except for autogen). Anyway, the Semprons are good if you can't afford an Athlon 64. In my opinion they are the next best thing.Aaron
