Please Help with OUTLOOK problem!

Featured Replies

I've always turned to the knowledgeable people in the AVSIM Forums for all kinds of problems. Usually they relate to an issue I've encountered using my favorite program...FS.2 days ago, I tried to E-Mail (OUTLOOK) my "proofs of purchase" to the email address given for BEV Textures, so that I may obtain my Spring Texture Free of charge. Well, I found 3 proofs of purchase in my Birdseye folder, Vol 1, Vol 2, and Vol 4. I could not find the Proof of Purchase Certificate for Vol 3. So, I thought I'd prove it some other way, so I "stupidly" sent the EXE file for Volume 3 which was over 150 Mgs. So now, almost 3 days later, my Outlook is still attempting to send, and my whole system slows to a crawl when I leave Outlook opened. I want to END this transmission, or DELETE it, but I've been told by my Cable provider that it's impossible with Outlook, but not so with Outlook Express. There must be a way to end this! I've left my Outlook on all night, and to no avail. The file doesn't finish sending. I know there are individuals who read this who can help. Please advise me so that I can get my mail system back to order. I'm ready to simply spend the money for the 5th module of BEV rather than go through this. For the life of me, I just don't know where that Vol 3 Proof is. I believe it's Winter, not Hard Winter, which was Vol 4. Maybe somehow they combined. I look forward to any OUTLOOK help you can give me on this. Thanks.

Diajohn2,THANKS AGAIN.....OPTION #2 Worked! I knew I could get a solution from an AVSIM member. I tried various, so-called, "experts" with this problem, and they told me it was next to impossible to do.Starting in Safe Mode, and following your directions worked perfectly. When I clicked on DELETE in the Outbox in this mode, the message disappeared. Excellent...now back to business.

John Noe:I agree with Stan. Very comprehensive response. Great job!Jim Young
